One-to-one video session · 30 min · UK pathology teams

Put your own slide on screen. Thirty minutes with Dean.

Two cameras — one over the grossing bench, one on the microscope you already own — that put every specimen and section on screen, measured, filed to the case and shared by link. Dean runs them on a case you choose, over video, and tells you plainly whether they fit your lab.

What happens in the session

Your case, three ways, in the order a lab works.

Dean shares the live PathoZoom view exactly as a colleague would receive it. You can join from a phone if you like — that is rather the point.

Who you'll be talking to

Thirty years in diagnostics. Based in the North East. Runs every session himself.

Dean Hutchinson has spent three decades bringing diagnostics products to UK laboratories, most recently in digital pathology. He has sat through enough NHS procurement conversations to know which questions come up, and answers them before you have to ask.

“Bring the case that annoys you most. The frozen that always waits for the scanner. The gross photo nobody can find. That's the one I want to run.”
Before you book

The four things people ask first.

Is it diagnostic-grade?
Yes. The software is CE-certified under IVDR and the measurement tools are CE-marked for diagnostic use after calibration. Not a research-only tool.
We already have scanners.
Good. PathoZoom reads and writes DICOM and supports 3DHISTECH, Hamamatsu, Leica, Philips and Olympus formats, and integrates with any LIS. The cameras cover what the scanner queue can't: grossing, frozens, urgent second opinions.
What about information governance?
Encrypted connections, browser-based access, local storage as standard, cloud optional. Viewers open a link; they don't install anything or create an account.
What does it cost to change?
A C-mount camera and a Windows PC. Your microscopes stay. Dean gives indicative pricing in the session, not after a qualification call.

Pick a time. Bring a slide.

Thirty minutes, one-to-one, on video. UK times.
