Former Head of Pathology at Karolinska University Hospital, affiliated researcher in Oncology-Pathology at Karolinska Institutet — the institute whose Nobel Assembly awards the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine — and President of the Swedish Society of Pathology. Pathology Science, his Stockholm-based company, evaluated the digital pathology market and chose PathoZoom to bring to the UK. The cameras are built by Smart In Media, founded by physicians at the University Hospital of Cologne and known in Germany as "The Pathologists' Company".
